Why do we suffer? (C)

I will speak about this subject in a general sense. In my personal experience I had never met anyone that have not suffer from one kind of a crisis or another. In general we all have to suffer in one situation or another, but I do not believe that we should not in any way measured between our suffering and someone else suffering. Because this in reality depending on the individual level of understanding or personal foundation. While someone may see your suffering not as greater as others, it does not mean that is true. It is hard to understand this basically because we do not know the life that the other person have went through.

I would try to give you an example. Let us say that two different people in different places had a car accident. Person A might say "this is terrible, but at least the car it just a material thing". While person B might say "oh my goodness, what will I do now". While person A may have a positive outlook, it is because that person have another car. While person B does not have another car and it will find it very difficult to go to his job or get around. Both A and B are suffering because the car was a wreck, but one has a solution while the other one does not. Although I know that I can give you a better example but I just want to show you one and keep it short. My point is you should never measure your suffering against others. Because you just never known was behind the life of other person suffering.

I have also seen that when someone have suffer a great crisis ,after a while they would emerge by being a stronger person or stronger in spiritual. I have also seen that even doing a very tough crisis humanity has a unique quality that will bring them closer and united together. Sometime when people suffer it will brings family more united or friend more united or even community more united. I have heard of people who always come to there home from work and never known the next the neighbor. And then when 9/11 occurred people began to look for there neighbors for comfort and give strength to one a other. And now after 9/11 people have been more interacted with the neighbor than before. Before 9/11 people had their religious background but never had the time to go to the religious temple or even pray. And now after 9/11 the religious Institute across the United States that there membership have grown 4 time and people now find themselves praying just a little bit more often. If you ever asked someone what have been the most suffering situation in the life, and what has come out of it. You will probably hear more often of a positive point of view or attitude.

I am not saying in any way that we should seek out something that should make us suffer in order to find a good benefit. Obviously you should avoid finding yourself in any tough crisis. But when it does happen beyond your control, at first you will suffer a great deal but you must find strength within yourself to overcome it and go on. I know it is easy said then done. But that is one special and unique quality that we all have. That when we are at our worst we always find triumphant.

That is all I have to say on the subject for now but I will touch it in the near future.
