Good deed, good action. (A)

A person found a package that contain $1000. Although he was in financial difficulty, he decided to turn it in and hope that someone could find.

That person that loss that $1000 could also be in financial difficulty.
Or that person could have been on his way to give it to someone that was in need, like someone sick or family member.
Or maybe he was on his way to give it to a charity organization that help people in need.
Or maybe he was on his way to the bank or a financial group to pay off a property that he had before it gets repossessed or put up for foreclosure.

We can go back and forth debating all the possibility of what that $1000 could have been for. And we can go back and forth debating on all the possibility of why he should return the money or not.

But one thing is for certain, that you should never take what you know for sure that is not yours. By returning that $1000 his action is worth more than all the money he would have found. For his good deed and good action would be with him far more longer than all the money he would have had.

Before leaving any comment, please take a look at the important memo to you right.

Bless you all and be well.

I AM who I AM. (A)

We can find negative aspect in just about everything, everyplace and everyone. Although we see ourselves as individual, we have acquired and project different characters from different people and different society. We have molded ourselves capturing different aspect from different people from around the world.
Our world have transformed and become much smaller since the beginning of many great invention. Starting from the invention of film in 1835, making it possible to capture image in showing it to people anywhere. Then came the invention of the plate camera in 1850, creating photographer who have taking image from around the world showing us places and culture we have never seen. Then came the invention of moving picture in 1908, not only capturing image, but also image emotion. Showing us how other culture have the own unique behavior and custom. Then in 1927, the movie change not only showing us image but now we have sound to go along with. Then came the invention of television 1st introduce in 1963.

Not only that we have tradition passed on from one family generation to another. Passing on the tradition and the custom of behavior from our family and in that particular society thing we live in. But now we are able to see the custom in the behavior from other culture thing from around the world. We began to introduce in our personality and character a little bit of the aspect from other society. As for an example I have capture a little bit from different society.

A little bit of British as for, trying to carry myself as dignified and being proper.
A little bit of Japanese as for, trying to carry myself as honorable and showing face.
A little bit of Israel as for, trying to carry myself as religious and having faith.
A little bit of U.S.A. as for , trying to carry myself as patriot and duty.
In a little bit of my family Cuban heritage, trying to carry myself with tradition.

Creating the kind of person I am today taking the best and positive attribute from those different culture. That is why when I hear from different society abdicating the elimination and extermination of another different society, it comes to my attention that it would be like removing a small part of your body.. Just because the foot this not function or is different from the hand. It does not mean give it of the hand.
We can find some negative aspect in every different society and custom (as I have done myself in several occasion). But we have come to this world to try to make an effort and not only find the positive qualities in everything, but also put it into action.

All that I know is I AM who I AM.

Bless you all and be well.

Wisdom from an Owl. (I)

Love can not buy you a house.
Love can not buy you a boat.
Love can not buy you a car.
Love can not buy you fancy clothing.
Love can not buy you a diamond ring.

But if I can change all my love that I have, in a bank.
You will be the richest person in the world.

Remember those.

We are now it is season of many celebration. Family and friends are gathering to celebrate a time of joy and renew. But for others it is a time of sadness and mourning. But there is a new concept and that is the celebration of life. For century people had the custom and tradition of suffering and in grief for those who are no longer with us. But I have a custom that when someone crossed to the other side, I announced to those who are near to them that "they are now born in a spiritual world". There is really no such thing as death, but only a transition from one place to another. In some culture it is believe that when someone is born in the physical world, they would feel sad. For they believe that they have died from the spiritual world, and came into the physical world. And in turn, when they leave the physical world, then they are born in the spiritual world.

I would like to share with you a unique way of remembering those who have crossed to the other side. It does not matter what religion you belong to or philosophy that you may have. Although I am Jewish this is something that everyone should embrace. And that is, instead of feeling sorrow and grief for those who are no longer with us, we should instead celebrate the good memories we have of them. If we are to light up a candle in their memory, we must realize that the flame represent the awakening of life, not the end of life.

When someone go on a vacation for a week or more , do you mourning for them? No.
When someone go to a business trip, do you mourning for them? No.
When someone go to work or to school, do you mourning for them? No.

Of course not, because you know that soon you will see them again. The same should be when someone is born in a spiritual world. Although you know that this will be a long time before you see them again, but eventually you will be able to reunion once again. I'm not asking people not to feel sad, but only asking people not to fall into grief and despair. And especially when people do this for many years. People believe that this is a way to show how deeply you care for them and respect them. But what people do not realize that this does not help for those loved one that have crossed to the other side.

Our society and culture should begin to learn a new custom and tradition. And that is to celebrate when someone is born in a spiritual world. You may believe that this will be showing disrespectful for those you care for. But in reality you are sharing with them the celebration of the spiritual life they are in. So I asked for you during the season of celebration that you remember them, and recall the memories of the time that you spent with them. If you have friends or loved ones gather with them, even if it for a short time, try to celebrate the season with others. And if you are like many other people who are alone and have no one to share with. Do not let this limit you from you going out there and celebrate. Go out and buy yourself a gift and buy or rent a movie and get something to eat and celebrate at home. And if you still wish to light up a candle in their memories, do it so in the same way you would light up a candle for birthday.

Remember they are those who have been mourning for long time and this new concept and may be difficult for them. Although you may have all good intention, you must not force anyone into any new situation. This may only make them rebel and become isolated and it was shut themselves even more. Share this article with them, and then let them take the time to find their own way to show memories of those love one.

We all live in the circle of life and we will all eventually meet at the corner square, and I will be on the level with you and tell you, that when the time comes you will not remember of the passing time that they were gone.

Why are we special? (B)

In continuing from part (A) I would like to amplify a little more about this subject. In the previous article, I talk about not only how special we are but where we can find that unique identity. We all tried to emphasize how special we are in order to cover our limitation and disability. But when I say disability I'm not only talking about our physical but also our emotional and mentally. But believe it or not, any kind of disability is not in any way represent in our life as a symbol of punishment. Some of us who have some sort of disability is actually an instrument that push us or cause us to thrive to become better or stronger. The matter what religion it may be, I sometime here some religious speaker describes some of human disability have some sort of punishment caused by some sort of sin. I strongly disagree with that. I have seen lots of people take their limitation of disability and turning their life into a great inspiration and positive attribute. Although there are some who fall into great despair, I have faith that one day they will find how truly special there are.

Never feel sorry or pity for those who have some limitation. For those people who have limitation usually end up being our inspiration and strength, they will make us see what we have taken for granted.

For some time those who cannot see can see better than those who can see.

Sometime picture says 1000 word. Here are some image that will inspire you.

Wisdom from an Owl. (H)

After we have fulfilled all that has to be done in the great journey of life. Do our journey continue on in the spiritual world? We all seek for proof or some sort of evidence that the journey continue on after the physical life. There has been many debate on this issue. for those who believe that there is still another journey beyond the physical life. But there are others who dismiss every evidence or theory that has been produced.

Do I personally have any evidence to offer? No.
Have I personally seen any evidence? No.
Can I personally produce any evidence? No.

And yet I believe that there is a continuous journey after this physical life. So why do I believe that? For me, the reason is simple. It will be such a waste after experiencing so much in this life. And especially on the love and wonderful experience that it has given me so much spiritual uplifting that all will be gone at the end of the journey of life. These experience are not in any way related with evolution. These experience can only be of something more. And that is of a spiritual nature.

These experience of unconditional compassion and selfless love can only be produced by the spiritual life. Your happiness, your joy, your anger, your desire may come from your physical emotion. But for you to care even for someone that you do not know can only come from the soul. To love can only come from the soul. And to have faith, knowing that everything in the universe is also within you. Can only come from the soul.

For anyone to believe that there is not a continuous a journey after the physical life, does not mean that it is an indication of ignorant. It is only lacking of the great confirmation that, that individual can hold such greatness. When those individual take the time to sit down and contemplate beyond science and beyond psychology that they are more than just an individual in this great physical world. Then one day they will discover what are proof of evidence that there is a greater journey than the one they had taken.

All that I know is that that I AM the light.

How is everything connected? (A)

Sometime people believe that things happen by coincidence or by accident. That everything that happens is by chance or by luck. Sometime people coordinate and plan to create sequent of event to reach a specific goal or purpose. If it is to create a positive goal, I think that is a good idea, for your action will create a domino affect that will in turn help other to reach a positive goal. Although sometime you may do things with all good intention but sometime you may not reach that particular goal.
Not everything in life that you would like it to be, but it does not mean that is something that you need it to be.
That simple little statement may not seem to make sense, but as time goes by and you become a little wiser you may see it a little bit more clear.

But one thing is for sure that everything is connected in one way or another. Although we see ourselves as individual but in reality we human being are connected. We are all in one way or another are brothers and sisters for we all come from the same source of the universal light. Even though we may find someone that we may not like or feel comfortable with, it does not mean that we are divided because of the way we feel. And I am speaking from personal experience. For some time I dislike a particular individual, for one reason or another. But I don't let my bad judgment interfere with the basic wisdom that I am sharing. You may have heard of this phrase "do as I say, but not what I do".

Even if we see ourselves as individual but if we look closely, we would see some connection. This body cannot work without the help or coexisting of other part of the body. Without the foundation of our DNA this body would not be able to be possible. And without other part of our organs this party cannot be a life. And yet it has been scientific proven that our organ work as individual. But at the end each individual organ depend on its survival from the other organs. Our DNA, Nervous System and Organs are all connected.

Even in the animal kingdom everything is connected. In order for the animal to survive, one exist in order for the other one to exist. We all know this as the food chain connection. Starting from the simple life form as the plant going up to the bigger life form.

Even our ecosystem is connected. With our forest, ocean, and whether all is connected. This is an ecosphere in which it is completely closed in, and yet life is sustained inside. There is only certain amount of water with a plant and a small fish or shrimp. And somehow they create a cycle in which each one help one another. It is a little bit too complicated to explain how this system works, but simply make your research in how this ecosphere work.

Even our universe believe it or not. It's all connected. Our solar system has just the right amount of planets needed in order for life to be possible on earth. Every planet has their own function in whether to protect our planet from giant meteorite or creating a stable orbit to keep us not too close to the sun but not too far away from it. If you were to study our solar system, you will find in their own different ways the function as a group. The sun the earth and the moon are all connected.

Now come the main reason why I made this article. And that is to tell you that no matter how small or how big your action may be toward other people, It does make a big different in the world where everything is connected. Even if you smile at someone that you do not known, or say "good day" to someone or even complement something about that person. You may think for the moment that it may be a small gesture, but you will have no idea how big of affect it will create to that other person. Do not try so hard to show your profession or how much you care. It is never the amount or the size of your action that will make a different, but it is important that once in a while do make an effort and show kindness toward other.
But never do an act of kindness with the idea to receive some sort of reward. Do not do it for recognition or appreciation. Your action of kindness should only be done with the idea that you are participating in a universal connection.

Wisdom from an Owl. (G)

There is only one thing to know. And that is at the end of the great journey we will all return to the one light.

No matter what you know or you think you know.
No matter what you believe or you think you believe.
No matter what you feel , or you think you feel.

But at the end we will all return to the one source.

We seek for wisdom in a book.
We seek for wisdom in a person.
We seek for wisdom in our self.

But at the end we will all return to the one path.

We struggle to learn.
We struggle to understand.
We struggle to believe.

There is only one thing to know that at the end we will all return to the one light.

Taking action. (A)

There are many things that we do that determine the course of our life. No matter what it may be whether of a spiritual nature or simply to carry your life as a civilized human being. We all have a tug-of-war tried to do the very best we can, even if we know that is not our 100%. I always believe that trying is far more better than not trying at all. We look at ourselves and we see what we can do by way of compassion, charity, righteousness, loving, and even being respectful. But these are all aspect of our emotion and passion, and sometime these aspect will behave in a animal incident, instead of our human incident.

So then we all have to learn through many sources the different between right and wrong. Some of them we learned from our parents and other would learn from spiritual teacher or philosopher. Even though we learned to control our animal passion and seek for the highest wisdom, and all that is well intended. We all contemplate and wonder if there is one key element that it would take us through our life, and we would take with us in the spiritual world.
And that one thing would be the action that we take. You all probably wondering that would be the obvious answer. But I have seen people that despise the wisdom and that they have in their good intention, that their actions sometime do not justify what they do. Each step that we take and each word that is spoken, and each thought that we think require some action that we take. To give you an example of what I'm trying to say let me tell you a story. There was a man working at a newsstand and his name was George. One morning a man came up and ask him if he can help him. He explain to George that he got locked out from his house and he needs some change to call someone to help him get back into the house. George took a look at the man he saw that he had messy hair and had one of the shoes with duct tape keeping the shoe from falling apart and his pants tear in different places. So he decided to help him and gave him a dollar in quarters. That afternoon a gentleman came up to him and asking if he can help him. He explained that he got locked out of his BMW and he would appreciate it if he can give him some change to call for a tow truck. George took a look at the man and saw that he had a pair of brand-new shoes and that he was well dressed. So he decided to help him, and gave them a quarter so he can make the call.

Taking a look at this story George did help the two men that came up to him that day. So one would say his action was good because he did help to people in need. But he also took action in judging people by their appearance. When George did not realize that the 1st man was not locked out of his house, but use that as an excuse to ask for money. While the 2nd man was working for the company that transport car from one place to another and needed to call his friend the had a tow truck to help him out, so he will not get fired. Of course, George had no way of knowing this, but if you're going to help someone do it because you want to help someone. In this story there is are a lot of "what if" but you cannot go through life thinking of "what if" and not take any action.

Throughout our life wisdom may come and go, and philosophy also may come and go. But when we take action those stay with us forever. It is so easy to let our passion dictate our action, but is far difficult to take the time and think before we take action. The things that we do with our emotion has very little value and they don't last long, but the thing we think through has greater value and last for ever.

Before leaving any common please take a look at the important note to the right.

Bless you all and be well.
