Remember those.

We are now it is season of many celebration. Family and friends are gathering to celebrate a time of joy and renew. But for others it is a time of sadness and mourning. But there is a new concept and that is the celebration of life. For century people had the custom and tradition of suffering and in grief for those who are no longer with us. But I have a custom that when someone crossed to the other side, I announced to those who are near to them that "they are now born in a spiritual world". There is really no such thing as death, but only a transition from one place to another. In some culture it is believe that when someone is born in the physical world, they would feel sad. For they believe that they have died from the spiritual world, and came into the physical world. And in turn, when they leave the physical world, then they are born in the spiritual world.

I would like to share with you a unique way of remembering those who have crossed to the other side. It does not matter what religion you belong to or philosophy that you may have. Although I am Jewish this is something that everyone should embrace. And that is, instead of feeling sorrow and grief for those who are no longer with us, we should instead celebrate the good memories we have of them. If we are to light up a candle in their memory, we must realize that the flame represent the awakening of life, not the end of life.

When someone go on a vacation for a week or more , do you mourning for them? No.
When someone go to a business trip, do you mourning for them? No.
When someone go to work or to school, do you mourning for them? No.

Of course not, because you know that soon you will see them again. The same should be when someone is born in a spiritual world. Although you know that this will be a long time before you see them again, but eventually you will be able to reunion once again. I'm not asking people not to feel sad, but only asking people not to fall into grief and despair. And especially when people do this for many years. People believe that this is a way to show how deeply you care for them and respect them. But what people do not realize that this does not help for those loved one that have crossed to the other side.

Our society and culture should begin to learn a new custom and tradition. And that is to celebrate when someone is born in a spiritual world. You may believe that this will be showing disrespectful for those you care for. But in reality you are sharing with them the celebration of the spiritual life they are in. So I asked for you during the season of celebration that you remember them, and recall the memories of the time that you spent with them. If you have friends or loved ones gather with them, even if it for a short time, try to celebrate the season with others. And if you are like many other people who are alone and have no one to share with. Do not let this limit you from you going out there and celebrate. Go out and buy yourself a gift and buy or rent a movie and get something to eat and celebrate at home. And if you still wish to light up a candle in their memories, do it so in the same way you would light up a candle for birthday.

Remember they are those who have been mourning for long time and this new concept and may be difficult for them. Although you may have all good intention, you must not force anyone into any new situation. This may only make them rebel and become isolated and it was shut themselves even more. Share this article with them, and then let them take the time to find their own way to show memories of those love one.

We all live in the circle of life and we will all eventually meet at the corner square, and I will be on the level with you and tell you, that when the time comes you will not remember of the passing time that they were gone.
