Why have ethic? (B)

In continuing from part (A). So how do we build our ethical values? A great deal of it come from what we learned from our parents. They teach us what is right and wrong in how we should conduct an behave in a society. Up parents are our major factor in how we are about to develop our ethical values and rules. Another factor in our development in ethical values come from seeing other people and especially in public figure. In fact, according to historians insult to study, they indicate that a great deal of our moral value came from Royal dynasty. For an example in Great Britain, the society that was being developed at that time. Look up to the Royal family in how they interact with each other and the common people. So the British people began to copy some of their ethical values and conduct. Most of our ethic in regarding to appropriate setting and behavior at a dinner table came from Great Britain. We American also copy the behavior and conduct of famous public figure.

For the last couple years I've been seeing a decline in moral values. In fact, it is believed that it began doing the 60s about the time of Kennedy. During the time of the Kennedy administration. People have been talking about how the Kennedy's men have been womanizer. Some of you may remember the issue of Marilyn Monroe and JF Kennedy. At that time they were gossip and article regarding to the matter. Even Ted Kennedy had issues. Like when there was an accident and Ted Kennedy car fell into the river killing his secretary. It was believe that he was having an affair with his secretary. And what about the Clinton administration when it was discovered that he was having an affair in the White House.

But politician I'm not the only one who are conducting a moral. As some of you have already known famous actors and music artist also come to view in how society learn ethical values. Like I said before I believe all of this has started doing the 60s. Like for an example, the Beatles when they frist began to smoke marijuana and even committed to the habit. Then it became popular for more music artist and actors to induce in their drug habit. It is bad enough that they began in this terrible habit, but when the public discover what they're doing they copied them. But of course, way before their marijuana habit they were known for their alcohol abuse. There was a time when such a news would create such a scandal, that whoever was a famous public figure they would have difficult in continuing their professional career. But nowadays if a famous actor or music artist is arrested for possession of illegal drugs or alcohol, their scandal will become popular and more famous. How can we expect to develop moral values when the media will report this as just another incident. You do not here anymore how this is a terrible disgrace and embarrassment and even shameful behavior. But instead, it's just a poor innocent actor with a little bad habit. That we must be tolerant and be forgiven to those poor actors and music artists for the stupid drug habit.

Since we no longer take alcohol and drug habit as a severe and shameful habit. We are now seeing society accepting these behavior as a normal issue. It has become such a normal issue that politician, actors, music artist and even religious figure becoming more famous for the immoral behavior. And if they died from their drug habit. There funeral become more famous and after the death they become just as famous. As a small example for those who died from drug overdose, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, John Belushi, Philip Seymour Hoffman. These are just some of the famous actors and music artist that have died from alcohol or drug abuse.

And now we have state that are recognizing and accepting legalizing marijuana. Like Washington state and Colorado and California. I'm not going to say that this is the beginning of a decline of the moral value in our country, but I will say that it has begun to decline of moral value in our country. It is not up to the individual post to hold ethical values. In a sense of moral attribute. I rather be the only one left on earth that was still hold some ethical values. That is why that in my social network and in my blog I do not use foul language. Although I am capable of expressing anger and frustration. I believe that they are on the way of expressing yourself without unnecessary language.
